So I've been neglectful
But can you blame me with all the fluffies that have come?
Well as you know I got my custom colibri's :D Loving those! I tend to wear the paloma birds more than the fillmore floral just because of the difference in size (paloma is baby and the fillmore is 'tween). I cannot imagine the size of the extended colibris!!!!!
So, I had my last big ISO (in search of answered) An eye2eye landed at my house the other week and so far we like it. I thin ki like it best in a front carry and have to try harder with a back carry as it was a little achy. I'd love to try one made from a different fabric as generally i'm not a fan of cord so may put it up for trade ;)
E2E are made by a talented seamstress in Norway named Ulla www.eye-2-eye.net unfortunately these are not sold outside of Nordic countries.

God I need to sort my neck out!!!
There are so many things I need to get a handle on. Maybe having them out in the open will spur me on.
My first MUST,MUST, MUST do is to sort my salaah out. I've been appalling for so very long and I'm really ashamed of myself *blush*. My DS is at an age where is matters and my soul is crying out for it. SORT IT OUT!!!!

I'm Happy! Oh So Happy!
Don't know why, i just am!!
I received a cute little paloma birds tote bag from Etsy the other day and will try to post pics, maybe when my matching MT (mei tai) gets here. Although I do have a Zidee podaegi in this print as well (added pic). Can you tell I like paloma birds (on black)!
Loving life at the moment. My DS is walking properly now and he has his first pair of proper shoes! We went to clarks in town and he had a picture taken with him wearing his first shoes. So cute, if I do say so myself.

I posted my fabrics off to the wonderful lady that's doing a trade with me for the colibri's. So 2 of them should be completed 'fairly' soon :D Who knows?Once I figure out how to post pics I'll try try and liven up my blog. LOL!

Just to add
To my oxymoronic life i have a current obsession with a particular fabric. "Fine", you say. Except it's not. There are a multitude of fabrics available to me yet i have to choose one that causes me problems. How can a fabric cause me problems?
Well i've neglected to tell you anything about myself, this will shed some light on my dilemma.
I'm a stay at home mum (SAHM) to my beautiful mashaAllah son (ok, clue there) wife to my husband and a muslim. I guess i should have said: I'm a muslim SAHM and wife.
My dear son has recently taken his first steps, he's wobbling along. It's the nicest feeling watching your child grow and learn new thing.
Anyway so the fabric...... of course it's full of half nekid ladies, winking at you. It's called Miss Butterfly by Alexander Henry (i'll try to post a pic but i'm not that literate yet).
I've not told you what this fabric is for yet. My other current obsession is with babywearing and baby carriers. In particular Mei Tai's, an Asian (oriental) style of baby carrier. I flippin love them and in particular I LOVE colibri's. Which of course are out of production. I've had the fortune to try a few and would one day love to have a custom. Any way, that's what the fabric is for custom Mei Tai's.
Feel free to suggest any fabrics. I'm currently looking at paloma birds on black (out of print), filmore floral (out of print), timeless treasures basix and bare nekid ladies LOL!
Any way signing off for now

On track
Ok rant over!
So a little about me and what i'm up to. I'm a married muslim mother of one. I have a little boy who is 16months old. I'm a stay at home mum (SAHM) and i'm loving it. Although I wish we got out a little more.
What has helped me get out (in the warmer, dryer months) are my baby carriers and my Stokke Xplory.
I highly recommend the Stokke for reference. It turns on a sixpence
Rambling of the day
Today I had a run in with an a$$ of a 'white' van man, he was in a red van actually. He thought it was cool to try an act hard with a woman driver, 70 odd year old woman (my gran) and 16 month old! Sometimes I wish I was a man so i could kick brutes like this right where it hurts.
Anyway he was in his work van with a little sign asking how he was driving, so i told them. Hehehe, I hope he gets the sack.
